I use this chip eliminate the excessive bouncing on four sets of rotary
encoder contacts that was seriously affecting the timing integrity of our
ZEIT sequencer. I didn't have much space because the circuit has to sit
alongside the encoders plus a VFD plus the power connectors for the board
and the VFD.
