This is insane. Almost 1500 Euros for a thing which not only needs
plastic surgery but also a major electronic overhaul?

But I like his style... "I know next to nothing about synths", "I have
been told it is quite rare", "it must [have] cost a fair amount back
then", "does it work? well it fires up OK and a few [...] LEDs flash and
blink and I can faintly hear some sound".

What a nice way of saying "this machine is toast and I know it"...

Regarding his shipment prices: Is UK post really that greedy? I always
thought that German post/DHL was expensive...
