[sdiy] Daft trigger sequencer - beat this!

Hello All

( I expect you can indeed beat this).

Many (twenty!) years ago I was looking for a way of triggering my MS-10/20
combination and hit upon the idea of using a programmable calculator.

In my case it was a Ti-59 - I soldered a single-transistor circuit on some
stripboard and drove it from one of the LED segments on the display.

Then I wrote some endless loops which caused the appropriate digit to light
up. By experimenting with different programmes I got different rhythms -
most were unusable but some gave good results. I wanted to extend the idea
and take other trigger feeds off other digits and maybe take the outputs
into VCF VCA etc. but I never pursued that avenue.

Has anyone else got some similar ideas that might provide brief amusement to
the list? I like the idea someone had of using a cheap 8 channel (Bearcat?)
radio scanner as an analogue sequencer!

Anyway, back to working out a Korg SQ-10 circuit diagram . . .

Cheers
