Hmm. I still don't see much in the application of blue LED's around
my house, except for 1) PS2 2) Wafflemaker 3) Espresso machine. I guess
when kitchen appliances start using them, then yeah, the "exotic" factor
is over, but I still like to use them. I tend to only use them in areas
where I want them to let me know something major is happening, like a
gate signal. My SVG module uses 1 blue for that, right next to 8
Red/Green bi-color LEDs that are used in all three modes!
For the PPG, blue was the only choice in color. I'll be modding a
Wavestation here in the next week with a new backlit LCD and wheels that
match that garish Yellow/Green color. Can't wait to see how sick it
turns out!

Maybe so, but I'm jumping ahead on the retro-wagon! ;) My next major
project will be using full RGB LEDs.

I'm quite partial to those early Casio digital watches. I still think
that they are a pretty neat idea. ;)

Nothing beats thos 10 watt Edison hand-rolled carbon bulbs...

And I've spent too much time in the basement rewiring my house. Ugh!

Are we having fun yet? :)

   Cheers,
