Japanese diode numbering starts with 1S as US ones start with 1N, but 1S6
sounds like it's awfully short -- could there be more to it?
I've had good luck lately with www.alldatasheet.com which lets you put in part
of a part number and it'll list everything that matches. Give that a shot.
The usual search engines haven't done me real well when it comes to finding
data on parts, most of the time.
