The Marshall Time Modulator uses CCD's, I believe. IIRC, they were custom
chips(?). Stephen St. Croix quoted some incredible S/N results using them,
he definitely was of the opinion that these chips were much, much better
than BBD's.
A great interview with St. Croix concerning this appears in a couple of
issues of the late, great magazine "Device" . All twelve copies can be
found at Mark Hammers excellent site, along with great amount of other
things. Well worth the visit, and do grab those Device PDF's if you haven't
done so already.
