Actually a 15HMz scope would probably show you the oscillations... maybe not
in detail but KNOWING they are there would be 1/2 the battle.

I found a misbehaving TL07x with my 5MHz scope   (I use this one at the audio
system, the big one at the bench... so call me a kulack  :^)
