I think what stinks more than having no scope is having 3 scopes that used
to work and now don't. I'd be happy if even my Heathkit scope would work.
But they all got flood damage. Except the Beckman, the last to go. I think
the pots wore out because when I do get a trace at all, it's noisy when I
move the pots around. It even thinks it's getting triggers.

I'm debating whether or not to try and fix it, knowing that there is not way
in the near future that I could get even a cheap one or scrapping it. It has
a really neat 10-turn pot on it. I do use my computer as a scope but really
it just isn't the same, no matter how much I want it to be. I just
discovered some VST plug-ins that I've had sitting around that actually give
a scope a run for its money. It's just annoying using a VST host just for
testing things (maybe it's just me being a baby...).
