It's a fat 24-pin IC which I just figured was static. I guess it's old 
enough to be a dynamic RAM and be that big. But all of the other dynamic 
RAMs that I have are normal-sized DIPs. I think 2102 was what I was thinking 
and I can't for the life of me thing why I related those two numbers...

Would a picture of the actual chip help? It kind of looks like how an EPROM 
looks.
