I'll try to save you the trouble of checking the archives, so let's see if I
get this right...

The general opinion is that a 15 or 20 MHz scope is better than nothing, but
some problems will not reveal themselves at such "low" frequencies.
Therefore, a 100 or 200 MHz scope is better.

As an example, Harry will usually chime in about high frequency op amp
oscillation that can break your circuit but won't show up on slower scopes.
