By a copy of the service manual, write a list of the components, buy them,
plus some stripboard and hookup wire, and start soldering.
That's what I did. About 6 months later, I had a working 808 sound module,
and a much better knowledge of electronics.

Ninestein has since retired, replaced by an original 808 and 909, but in
some ways, I miss it.
