That would be the 6E5,  unless you were talking about the dual-unit which I 
think was the 6AF6G,  or something pretty close to that.  I always wanted to 
mess with one of those,  too.

Does it have to be the round one?  My mother has a radio that used a smaller 
tube (9-pin?) with the "screen" being a rectangular area on the side.  The 
number EM84 comes to mind,  though I think there was also a US equivalent 
number.  Nifty stuff,  that!
