I've got a ROM chip from an old Roland digital drum machine
(I think it was TR 626). The problem is that the least significant
address bits of the samples are:
A3, A4, A5, ..., for some instruments,
A4, A5, A6, ..., for some others, and
A5, A6, A7, ..., for the others
instead of A0, A1, A2, A3, ...
This makes the use of that ROM a bit difficult.
If you have no description of your ROM chip
then a lot of trials will be necessary to discover
the addressing system of the samples.
