I didn't have the time to look at this before, but now that I did, I 
have to say these are intriguing little buggers. :-)
I was thinking... What if you set up 4 of them as left-hand 
controllers. Mounted in the bender-board, arranged in crescent moon 
shape, one under each fingertip. That would give you up to 16 
parameters to control with one hand, leaving your thumb free for the 
traditional pitch wheel.
Might take considerable practice to get it under control, but the 
results could be spectacular. Simultaneous control of filter, LFO 
depth, pulse width, morphing, fx-mixing, cross-modulation....
No way I'd find the time to pick that up as a project, but maybe it 
tickles someone else's curiosity and inspiration?
