Why?

You DIY a project.  It's DIY.  

You make people aware of it.  It's still DIY.  

Someone sends you money for a pile of parts and a board.  
How is it now (the same THINGS as before made by the same person) not DIY?

"Amatuer" is a word that was not used in the definition.
