[sdiy] Lego synth anyone?

I know it's absolutely silly, but somehow this sticks in my mind. :-)
Maybe a good idea to use for a practical application for Lego gates 
and flip-flops?
One could use wheels and cogs as a sequencer, to drive the Lego logic 
that triggers the relays.
All you'd need now is some electro-mechanical tone-generators and a 
sea-container as casing for your synthi.

As if there aren't enough sensible things to do... LOL
