[sdiy] freeware using PC and soundcard as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer

I've downloaded a number of apps that use your soundcard and PC as an oscilloscope and/or a spectrum analyzer. So far I have not found one that is precise enough and freeware enough.

Does anybody have a good one they could point me to?
