I have a Motorola DSP and a 68HC11 and I was wondering how rough it would be
to just bitbash the DSP stuff. I haven't look into it much. Right now the
only ADC's I have are 8 or 10 bit (but the 10-bit is part flash). What I
think would be cool would be an effects box that had a spectrum analyzer
using an LCD display that would do both in real time. I think the DSP I have
is a bit old though. (It's from a first generation CD-burner)
I actually found a resource for using the OPL3 chip I popped off of a Compaq
board. (The MIDI-Box site someone has made mention of it elsewhere on this
list.) But that's more like a DCO.
