So, I'm still using one of my old sliders, and it's annoying me a little
bit...
I've been looking into ways to get the 10k slider to work, and I've hit a
stumbling block. I was looking at the schematics, and the original part
values call for a 1M slider, and a 1uf cap. It was suggested that I should
change the cap to a larger value (Thanks PS).
In order to use the 10K slider, I figured I need a 100uf cap, so off I went
to happily buy a 100uf nonpolarized cap. Fine. good.
Of course, it doesn't work, because it's an electrolytic, and the one in the
machine now is not. It's a little white epoxy block, which I guess is some
polyester film type? Please set me straight on this...
I've been looking at similar *looking* caps, and everything I see seems to
indicate that I'm not going to be able to find anything close to the 100uf
range. So what other options do I have?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
