Might be kind of a fun, weird, and impractical synth patch panel to use
punch blocks, a few rolls of colored wire, punch down tool, electrician's
scissors in a quick-draw holster, and a spudger*. Peel off some wire, punch,
punch, throw the wire bits on the floor. Rip out the wire, throw it on the
floor to un-patch. Or to patch in something like a filter, cut the wire and
punch down the ends to the filter. And don't forget to throw the wire pieces
on the floor.
