Corporations regularly hire these drones to do this kind of black PR work 
for them. It's standard SOP. Often the drones know they're not telling the 
truth, but they have some kind of bizarre brain washed attitude to 
corporate welfare that puts the latter above any ethical considerations.

You have to remember that in a very real sense these people are paid not to 
be human, but to promote a line.

I suppose it's a more upmarket version of ads and campaigns that rely on 
BIGGEST BEST BADDEST WORKSTATION EVER syndrome. The difference is that only 
teenagers with no experience really believe that the Rolakrog Yamahah 
SX2021 is the biggest baddest workstation ever, and the worst that can 
happen is someone wastes their money. In the advanced form people can, and 
do, lose their lives to these lies.

EM is really quite genteel, when you think about it.
