Cheap?
Hammer long nails thru a wooden frontpanel, just so deep
that they show on the inside (for soldering), and the longer
part is still outside for the alligators.
Might also work for a plastic frontpanel - in that case don't use
the hammer and heat the nails instead. (;->)
