The Wogglebug is on my list of things to make fer sure (along with some
other Wiard stuff).

I've been wondering what could be accomplished with other PLL's too like the
564 and the 565 and even some newer ones like the MC88916, TBB200, UMA1015
(a PLL and then some...), oh yeah and the XR2212 and XR2215. Of course I
only wonder this because I happen to have at least one of each (a bunch of
TBB200's though...) - oh except for the XR chips. They look neat though. I
suppose I might be on my own in this regard unless someone else has already
messed around with some or these. But hopefully someone has a big pile of
junk like I do and is after the same thing.

Still 4046's aren't expensive so buying a few is a trivial matter. I guess
what I'm wondering is could better PLL research be done with a different,
but common and cheap, PLL? I've seen stuff done with a 565, but unless I'm
mistaken they cost around $5, which is expensiveish for me (except for
things like BBD's.)
