I think that somewhere on the ZETEX site you'll find the simulator that 
they expect you to design with. Check it out, if you want to go further 
you'll need to buy a development kit (unless you want to reverse 
engineer the programming of the devices) as well. The topology is 
somewhat restricted, which makes it impossible to use all available 
cells for most circuits.
