Believe it or not, I've never played a Dim D in person either. (Certainly
heard
it embedded in other sounds on varios records, but we all have that.)
My clone was just built from schematics, and to my ears it does the same
thing
as the Dim C samples show. But that doesn't neccessarily mean much either.
For me, it's rather unimportant which of the 4 presets I choose on my clone.
They all have that "chorus without being obtrusive" sound, so different from
everything else, that the variations between the presets, lest the variation
between C and D if there is any, are minor details. IMO.

Your mail inspired me to hook up my Wurlitzer to the Dimension Clone today.
Perfect
fit! (Not many FX work well on the Wurlie, IMO.)
