Thank you, JH!

You're right about the sound sample - there are too many variables in there
to distinctly judge what the Dim C is doing. In fact, I think it most
shines on what it can do to less complex 'plain' samples, and I think what
it does is also more evident with polyphonic sound sources.

I do have some sound samples that will give you a better idea on how it
sounds at my 'old' Birth of a Synth site. I use a tiny little Yamaha
SHS-110, and each sample first plays the unaffected sound and then the
effected sound.

The samples are here on my 'Birth of a Synth Page":

You'll have to scroll down to the following entries:

25 November, 2004: The first samples recorded, in Mono In to Mono Out.
Four samples (one for each of the four original modes of operation)

26 November, 2004: Four samples, recorded in Mono In to Stereo Out, again
one for each mode of operation.

04 December, 2004: Eight samples done with sounds originating from the
modular. The reason I did that was because I was testing the stereo input
function, but had no handy stereo source to do it with, so I made a stab at
creating stereo inputs with filters, etc. But, they do have 'before and
after' examples in them as well.

Dates after that deal with tinkering around with the TZF, and are mostly
white noise run through the TZF output.

I'll have to record some more expository samples using the external
modulation and TZF output, I think.

Cheers,
Scott
