transistor arrays (was Re: [sdiy] voltage controlled filter???)

Speaking of transistor arrays, I've seen a lot of good uses for
CA3046's and CA3083's (which I have several of), but I was
wondering if anyone knows of any good synth uses for
darlington arrays like the ULN2803 and ULN2003.
I like finding good uses for parts I used to think were just junk.
