Yes, E&MM was my starting point. An excellent magazine.

I've often wondered if publishing a magazine like E & MM would be possible
these days, given the capabilities of desktop publishing and Pre-Press
systems these days.

Success would depend largely on two factors -  firstly, getting a large
number of well written and properly illustrated contributions and, secondly,
upon the number of subscribers who would be willing to support such a
magazine throughout the early years.

An electronic, subscription-based publication might be a suitable starting
point. 

Anyone else got any suggestions?
