The DIY way would be to take the ball out of a roll on deodorant, drill a
small hole, fill with potting resin of choice, wait for it to set, drill the
hole again , push a brass insert into it and Robert is the mollusc of your
choice.......be an odd effect too, with the white ball full of black or
coloured resin (though you can get white resin too I suppose...
