[sdiy] Frequency Counter for PC Soundcard?

Just getting my wavetable project going over here..   i'm thinkin i need a freq counter to measure it so i can build the lookup for notes..   anyone know of a GOOD program that I can do this with on my pc thru my soundcard??  i've tried 2, and they seem like crap..
