Technophobe guitarists still do, my brother still sells a lot to that crowd, 
especially in Oxford UK where indie-rock is king and technology a dirty 
word..... It's horrible doing PA systems round here, first time you do a 
band is OK, they're kids and they all got Behringer modelling amps.... great 
cos the sound is in the model and you can turn them up adn down and not 
affect it so easy to get on-stage balance.... a year later and they've got 
some valve-powered horror story that only sounds nice when it's running some 
cab the size of Oregon with everything on "12"..........
