[sdiy] salvaged DSP56004

At first I thought this might be out of the scope of this group, a Motorola 
DSP, but hey,
it's going to be for synth use and it's DIY so...

Get to know me and you'll know that I've been salvaging electronics parts 
(just for fun)
since I was a kid, er younger anyway, about 22 years ago.

Anyway just recently I mastered my SMD removal technique and decided to 
tackle the
parts I wanted to use. Two of these were a DSP6004 and a 68HC11F (oh and a
AM27C020 but it was in a socket - why don't they use more sockets?).

Just wondering if anyone had any particular experience with this DSP and/or
some good links. I'm finding a lot of links, but there's a LOT to go 
through.
