I'm working on a synth that uses two XR2206's.

I thought about having a mode where the oscillators operated around  100 kHz 
and the beat frequency would be the output. I thought that even though the 
output would be mostly sine, from what I've read with a theremin as the 
frequencies get close to equal there's a little distortion that makes the 
sine a little saw-like. I was just thinking doing it this way with my synth 
would make a sound a lot more like a theremin in that mode.

Does this sound liek a cool idea?
