I don't have a Sixtrack, but I do have the Sequential "MAX", which is
basically a stripped down version which was offered for sale as a
computer peripheral. At first I was disappointed with its architecture,
but the machine has grown on me. Every aspect of the CEM3394 chips
being tweakable via MIDI CC is great, especially when one considers
that most others were using SYSEX at the time.

I have played with controlling the CEMs using pots and external CVs,
but have preferred to not waste much hardware on it. Separate outputs
are handy though, I might add some this spring. These chips are the
same as those in some of the Simmons drum synths, which has inspired me
to duplicate the "second skin" feature for the MAX, just another
oscillator to modulate each voice.
