Interesting.

To be (sort of) fair, I don't find it hard to tell the difference between 
speakers wired with bell wire and speakers wired with fairly thick, but not 
insanely so, mains cable. Given the difference in electrical profiles you'd 
expect some difference under load. I can also hear a difference (much 
smaller ) between cheap phono leads and something a little more professional.

But the idea that cabling is directional or that there is *any* reason to 
spend $1000/m on cable is just plain nuts.
