I think this has been gone over recently but I can't find the message.

I need to find a supplier for analog joysticks - the kind with 
potentiometers.

The controllers on modern gaming systems called 'analog' are actually 
optical encoders like on a mouse. (And I can find these anywhere for dirt 
cheap.)

Are there any new game systems that actually /do/ use pots in their 'analog' 
joysticks that I might have missed?
