I actually made a bomb - for a film. Had a red 4-segment alphanumeric
display that counted down.

When it went through "0000", it displayed "Bang". The Director liked it so
much they:

1) Put the "Bang" in the film, shortly before the actual explosion (that
wasn't triggered by my efforts).

2) Kept it (and paid me about half of what it was worth [gits]).

What was the film? A very small production called "The Anarchists' AGM" -

It was made even more "bomb-esque" with a brief case containing bags of
cement, and lots of different coloured curly wires connecting them all
together :)
