Hey gang,
I looked into THAT chips from the two British distributors mentioned. With
a conversion rate of $1.9 per British Pound, Rapid Electronics wants around
$7 per chip for the 2180LC version in small (<25) quantities. Profusion's
web site has been giving me troubles, but the one time I was able to get
pricing there, they were asking the equivalent of around $9 per piece. In
contrast, THAT corp's web site lists the 2180LC as $2.55 in quantities of
1000. I can't swing $2550 for the whole lot, but I wouldn't mind buying a
hundred pieces at that price, especially if I thought there were some
interest on the part of others here to buy up some of the excess. Anyone
else interested in these chips?
Dave
