I was thinking about this earlier and came up with a neat idea. If they're
as easy to move as I imagine them to be, make an array (as many as affordable)
all next to each other and have each trigger a very short sample, different
sound or pitch or somesuch based on direction. Something along the lines of
easily controlled granular synthesis by stroking your hand across the array in
different directions.
