[sdiy] Project SynthSex and Huxley's Blaster Beam

Ok, curiosity is really starting to get to me now. :-) Lately, while
scanning the logfiles for my web site, I've noticed quite a few people
accessing an archived copy, Vol. 9, No. 3, of the EMUSIC-L Digest,
pertaining to something called "Project SyntheSex."

Has anyone on this list done any research pertaining to that project,
or have any of the female SDIYers on this list had any direct
experiences with it, ...or is it just a 'net legend?  Just wondering,
since there's so much interest in that file lately.

Has anyone reproduced Craig Huxley's "Blaster Beam" sound, or
METLAY at PITTVMS.BITNET's "THE IRE" sound, via any DIY projects?  Seems
like a good reason for more wives and girlfriends to encourage the
SDIY hobby.  :-) :-) :-)
