thanks a lot for this inspiration! Yes, this would be a perfect "generic"
solution for SID and OPL3 - sounds like a new MBHP module :)
Btw.: do you also have a suggestion for a cheap "common" DAC with
8 or 10 bit solution, which could be taken as a low-cost solution for
CV outputs? Currently I'm using the MAX525 for my "MBHP_AOUT" module,
but this part is hard to get for hobbyists, and very expensive (ca. EUR 25)
Most essential specs would be linearity and glitch-free switching
