[sdiy] A few diy questions...

Hi all;

 I'm wondering what experiences people have had trying to clone the series 100
stuff? The schematics found on Magnus's sight look fairly straight forward and
there seems to be many replacement trannies etc on mouser/digikey. Is the
NTE123A a decent replacement for the 2N3565? There seems to be alot of those
used in the 100 series.

 Anyway I'm starting my modular system by building my two ASM2's and 9090 kits
first. Then I'd like to build four 3372 based Matrix 12 filter clones. I wonder
if I'd be able to separate the 3372 and that extra multimode filter cicuitry
into two modules. Just have a 3372 lowpass module, and another module that
allows multi-mode filtering when a similar 24db filter (or any other audio
source) is plugged in. Maybe make a bypass using a switching jack allowing an
different audio source besides the 3372. I have a couple of CEM 3396 and wonder
if anyone's worked with those?

 I think the first series 100 module I'm going to build is the mixer module
seeing as I don't have one. Also, are there any other Optoisolators fit for
lowpass gates?....

I should probably just buy a bunch of stuff and start experimenting. ^_^

Thanks
