[sdiy] Question about earthing on power-one psus

Any PSU I have is in a fully earthed box - BUT as above, I don't connect my
0V line (or panels) directly to it. I do however put a 1k 1W resistor
between them to prevent any voltage jack-up form occuring. Such jack-ups are
known to kill synths.
