[sdiy] Question about earthing on power-one psus

As Harry said, that is another completely different discussion.  I'm in the
camp with David C.  I earth my power supply case and take all synth grounds
to the power supply COM connection.  I do not bond earth and COM.

Tony Allgood has a very interesting approach on his modular that is
different.  He does earth front panels.  You can read about that on his
site.

This might have a lot to do with how you connect back to the power supply
and what size wire you use.  I have all my stuff on the same supply (+/-
5000 ma)
and have no interaction.  However, I run # 12 wire from the PS to any
distribution boards.  Then, I use smaller wire from the distribution boards
to the modules.  Always avoid a "buss" style arrangement and make it as
close to every module directly connected to the PS in a start fashion as
mechanically possible.
