[sdiy] Where can I get desktop synth enclosures

Hey Paul,

Yeah, I've looked at assembler code and compared it with C for the AVR. A
good C compiler would make it almost a pleasure to write code (as opposed to
the man-machine struggle that is Assembly Language). I've also looked at
some of the Basic compilers available for the AVR. I believe our own Bret
Truchan does his AVR programming in compiled Basic. My small amount of
previous (PC) experience tells me that Basic is slower than C. Does this
also hold true for embedded applications like the AVR?

Any C compiler recommendations? It's got to be compatible with the STK500,
but from what I can tell, just about everything is.
