True. There's even more untapped potential.
When MIDI was introduced, I had expected more world-wide musical 
collaboration to develop, like:
"Hi, here's the MIDI file of the complete drum track. Could you mail 
some variations back with funky bass lines? I've included the sys-ex 
for the Matrix patches.
Hope you can do this tonight; I'd like to send it off to Keith 
tomorrow, who says he'll put in some ripping Hammond licks."
Haven't seen much of that yet. With all necessary tools becoming more 
affordable for individuals, they tend to try and do everything by 
themselves. There could be much more inspiration coming out of 
on-line cooperation.

Just my 2 inflated Eurocents.
