Looks very nice. Both Trevor and I had been thinking of doing the whole
303 clone a while ago. But Trevor got some negative vibes when he
approached Roland about doing a complete TR909 so we sort of lost
interest.
Its a bit worrying when xoxbox says they are using the now deleted
BA6110 OTA as a sub for the even more deleted BA662. I thought that too,
but it isn't. There is a workaround though. I wonder if they found it
too and whether its the same as mine ;-)
In the last batch of the now defunct TB3030 I actually found it easier
to obtain the BA662 than the BA6110. Which was a damn shame since the
BA6110 was probably one of the best linear OTAs ever made. Think half a
CA3280 complete with its own buffer, higher Gm, and in a handy SIL pack.
You'll be telling me they don't make the 3080 anymore soon ....
