He, he, I wrote the source code for a self-made AVR assembler
(just an exercise in C programming)... The "END" directive was
necessary there.
Now I work under the "AVR Studio". By the way: I still cannot
understand why they didn't make any IF-ELSE-ENDIF directive
there. In my assembler, there were up to 32 nested IF-ELSE-ENDIF's,
and I needed only a single 32 bit variable for this purpose!
