Hm, depends. For a SoC you mostly just add standard components such as
UARTs, timers, MAC/PHY, maybe additional processing blocks (JPEG, MPEG
etc.) -- but not so much raw hardware hacking.

To parse the MIDI data, access the CF medium, create the user interface :)

With 220MHz resulting frequency? The 68k must be a way smaller/leaner
design than I thought.
