Q: Do you have plans to sell a board for it?
A: No, I built it all on a perfoboard - it took an evening or two.
Q: I've been wanting to do the same thing (...) with ATMEGA16s,
since I have a number of them. Perhaps I'll build your example
and play around with it.
Q: I plan to build one, useing a MEGA16 I have, so I'll have to change
things a little (very little, in theory) and then I'll pass Jarek some
samples
to upload, along with the revised code to work with the MEGA16
(as the 8535 is now obsolete). In theory, once the code is working
on the Mega16 extras could be added aswell.
A: The code should run on an ATmega16 without any change in the
software, I suppose. And the sampling rate could be doubled!
Q: sound samples?
Q: Any sound samples you could share would be devoured with interest.
Q: Please post some sound samples
Q: Are you able to record any sounds from it?
Q: I wonder if you could sample some sounds of the synth
A: OK, OK, I'll try to record and post some samples as soon as
possible (maybe tomorrow).
Q: ...looks very much like what I did with a pic about 4 years ago.
Mine was 8 bits and ran out of steam at 5KHz I guess running
the avr gives you at least 4 times the speed.
A: I love the AVR family because of the speed! But I think the
newest PICs are fast as well (40MHz clock?)
I thank you all for your nice words - really very kind of you!
Regards,
Jarek
